E134: Hanging out your shingle? How to start (or grow) a law firm you love

industry challenges process improvement May 25, 2022

Launching a practice can seem overwhelming. There are so many decisions to make, from the philosophical (what's my mission?) to the practical (what tech do I need?).

And once you’ve launched, there are more questions. How are you going to grow your practice? How do you get more clients in the door and then, once you do, how can you meet the increased demand?

It may sound like something your grandmother used to say (mine did), but you need to start as you mean to go on. You need a clear picture of what you want your practice and your life to look like in 5 or 10 years. Then you can design a practice that works NOW to get where you want to go.

This week’s tip: Start as you mean to go on by designing a practice that works the way you want it to. Whether you’re just starting out or you’re ready to grow, the key decisions you make now will determine how hard you have to work and whether you’ll achieve your goals.

Join us and our guest, Amy Grubb of Grubb Law, and learn how you can set yourself up for success from the beginning—or take your success to the next level if you've already launched.

We'll answer questions like:

  • Where do I start?
  • What tech should I get
  • How can I attract clients without going broke?
  • When should I hire and who should I hire first?
  • What processes and systems do I need, so I can run my firm without burning out?

Whether you're thinking about hanging out your shingle, or you're already running a practice and you're ready to grow it, this webinar is for you!

This week’s action item: register for the webinar and start jotting down all your questions. We’ll be live and ready to answer you on June 2, 2022 at 12 p.m. Eastern.
