You did it! You survived one of the most difficult years in recent memory and you made it to 2021. Take a moment to feel grateful for everything you learned and accomplished in 2020; this is what’s going to propel you and your practice forward in the new year!

Want to watch this tip instead?

Earlier this month, we challenged you to determine professional and personal goals for the new year and identify tangible steps to achieve them. Here’s the challenge:

  1. Set two business improvement goals for 2021
  2. Set one personal goal for 2021
  3. For each goal, decide on ONE task to complete in the first ninety days of 2021 that will lead you closer to your goal.

New Year’s resolutions usually fail because they’re just too big to be achievable. Instead, resolve now to make regular small changes to get you closer to your goals. As we always say, small changes add up!

Want more motivation leading into the new year? The best book I know on succeeding by setting yourself small, achievable goals is definitely Atomic Habits by James Clear. And check out our blog post on Four Tips to Build Better Habits.

You can do it!

We wish you and your practice nothing but the best for 2021 and beyond.
