Hello and welcome to the Christmas edition of our Tip of the Week. Want to watch this tip instead?

I’m David Skinner. I’m a lawyer and process improvement expert.

Throughout December, we’ve been giving you a new practice challenge every week. Today, your challenge is simple: try one new productivity app. Just one. You don’t have to love it. You don’t have to keep it. You just have to give it a try.

Innovation requires iteration. Trial and error. Piloting and testing. You have to try a new solution or a new process to see if it’s going to solve a problem for you. It might. But it might not. If it doesn’t, don’t give up on innovation. Instead, try again.

A new app is the same. There are hundreds (maybe thousands) of apps out there designed to make your practice or your life easier. Some will work for you, some won’t. To get you started, we’ve compiled a list of nine productivity apps we use regularly. The list includes Trello and the Post-It App that we’ve told you about before, and seven apps you may never have heard of. Like Toggl to give you voice-assisted time tracking, or LiquidText to handwrite mark ups of your PDFs on your tablet.

Download the whole list, pick one, and give it a shot.

And as an added bonus for the new year, here’s a coupon code you can use on any of our courses in 2020: BOLDOGUJEVET. Just enter the code at checkout and get $50 off.

Have a great holiday season. We’ll be back with our next tip on New Year’s Day. Sign up if you don’t want to miss it.

Thanks a lot everybody!
